While core CFA equipment and infrastructure are government funded, community donations help local brigades improve equipment, facilities and volunteer support.
The generosity of local residents and businesses has helped Red Hill CFA fund specialised equipment, including the brigade’s Big Fill appliance—a customised four-wheel-drive with an onboard pump that can access difficult terrain and draw water from dams, rivers and private tanks.
